I am the grand daughter of Eddy and Marie Parkhill. My parents are dixie and Andy Tweedie. Every summer myself and sister spent many hours in rexton. Since my grandparents are both gone. I dont go home I love Rexton and would love to take my son back home to just show him around. This is the closest to God you can get. As they say it is Gods land, so so true |

Hello, I would love to visit Rexton one day, but until then I will continue to enjoy looking at all the lovely photos on your site. My great great grandmother Eliza Newton and her youngest daughter Ena moved here from the UK in 1896/7. Ena married John Grant and had a son called Frederic William David Robert Newton Grant (born 1899). Eliza died in1901 and Ena in 1904. I often wonder what happened to the son, and if there are any living relatives in Canada today. Best wishes from me in Wales. |
